I am an experienced academic writing editor, with years of experience working in higher education institutions in the UK.
I am a member of the Chartered Institute for Editing and Proofreading and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

I have reviewed and edited thousands of pieces of university writing, from essays and reports to presentations and book chapters. Writing and editing has been an adored part of my life for many years. The power of the written word cannot be understated and its this love that I bring to my own writing and all my editing work.
I work from home in the beautiful Scotland, surrounding myself with as many books, house plants and cups of coffee as possible.

All the editing work is done by me, none of it is outsourced. I also never use AI in any part of my editing and proofreading process. I always want to form a strong relationship with my clients to ensure that all feedback is tailored to their individual needs.​
